To meet the needs of the region and provide seamless high-quality comprehensive dermatology care we are seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Dermatologist to join an established practice consisting of three dermatologists and three APPs in Binghamton NY. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a collaborative team of dermatologists in a pleasant and professional environment.
Position Details:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients within the department
- Perform micrographic surgery to remove skin cancers with a focus on preserving healthy tissue and achieving high cure rates
- Collaborate with pathology to interpret tissue sections and determine if further excision is required
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care including wound management patient education and follow-up visits
- Treat general medical needs and non-emergent illnesses and injuries
- Build and manage an outpatient practice with the support of highly trained administrative staff
Location:
Binghamton NY is located approximately 2.5 hours north of New York City and 1 hour from Syracuse NY. It is a progressive college town offering a strong healthcare presence a safe living environment and a diverse community with nearby lakes ski resorts golf courses wineries a symphony orchestra and an opera company.
The position includes a competitive starting salary of $500000 to $626000 with bonus incentives a sign-on bonus relocation assistance and a comprehensive benefits package including malpractice insurance with tail coverage.
