Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Delivery Manager Data Platform Engineering on behalf of our client in Atlanta GA. This is a senior-level leadership role responsible for driving the successful delivery of large-scale data platform initiatives across multiple engineering teams. The ideal candidate will combine strong Agile delivery expertise with technical program management capabilities enabling effective coordination across engineering architecture product and executive stakeholders.

This position is well-suited for a delivery leader who can manage complex programs oversee cross-functional collaboration and ensure alignment between business objectives and technical execution within cloud-based data platform environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate Agile program delivery activities including PI Planning dependency management cross-team coordination and delivery governance.

• Drive execution and delivery across multiple engineering teams and platform initiatives.

• Coordinate efforts among Engineering Product Management Architecture and Leadership stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and timelines.

• Support strategic data platform and cloud initiatives including AI/ML-focused programs and AWS-based platform implementations.

• Manage program risks issues dependencies and escalations to ensure successful delivery outcomes.

• Facilitate architecture governance processes including tracking decisions standards and technical dependencies.

• Develop and present executive-level status updates release communications program dashboards and delivery metrics.

• Monitor project progress and maintain transparency across stakeholders regarding milestones risks and overall delivery health.

• Foster collaboration across technical and business teams to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in Delivery Management Technical Program Management Agile Program Management or a related leadership role.

• Proven experience leading large-scale data platform cloud or enterprise technology initiatives.

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies Scrum practices and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) principles.

• Experience managing cross-functional programs involving multiple engineering teams and stakeholders.

• Solid understanding of cloud technologies preferably AWS and modern data platform environments.

• Demonstrated ability to manage program risks dependencies governance processes and delivery reporting.

• Excellent communication stakeholder management and executive presentation skills.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with a focus on execution and results.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Data Engineering Platform Engineering Analytics or AI/ML organizations.

• Familiarity with Amazon SageMaker data lakes data warehouses and modern cloud-based data ecosystems.

• Experience participating in architecture review boards governance forums or enterprise architecture initiatives.

• SAFe PMP Scrum Master or other Agile-related certifications.
