Job Summary

  • Act as a witness at customer locations where DEA controlled substances are involved.
  • Ride along with a CDL Driver to assist with duties at their stops.
  • Video the destruction process of DEA controlled substances and upload video into employer system.
  • Requires up to 4 overnights per week based on routes
  • Load containers and supplies to truck for daily service stops
  • May assist in maintaining inventory and storage of hazardous materials in accordance with appropriate regulations and policies practices and procedures.    
  • Follow all Health & Safety/Job Safety Analysis (JSAs) procedures as outlined in procedures and policies.    
  • Complete paperwork legibly accurately and in a timely manner.    
  • Performs related work and additional duties as requested or assigned by supervisor/manager.
  • Regular contact with external customers and different levels of personnel on a daily basis.
  • Candidate must meet all requirements for handling DEA regulated waste
  • Drive non-DOT regulated vehicle to customer sites to witness regulated waste collection as needed.

 

Pay range $20.00 - $21.00 hourly


Qualifications :

 

Basic Requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age 

  • High school diploma or GED.   

  • Understand read and write English 

  • Able to repeatedly lift and carry up to 75 lbs. 

  • Able to stand bend and walk for extended periods of time 

  • Basic knowledge of Windows-based software (Word Excel etc) 

  • Willing and able to wear company-provided personal protective equipment such as eye protection foot protection Tyvek coveralls and respirator (as needed) 

  • Able to pass a DOT physical drug test and DEA background check 

  • Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience working with hazardous materials 

  • One or more years related experience 

  • Knowledge OSHA Regulations. 

  • Ability to operate a forklift   

  • Strong attention to detail 

  • Ability to follow procedures
