DCIM Engineer

A Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) Engineer is responsible for designing implementing and maintaining the physical infrastructure of a data center. The DCIM Engineer will work closely with other teams such as IT facilities and operations to ensure the data center is running smoothly and efficiently.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and implement data center infrastructure including power cooling and network systems.
• Monitor and maintain data center equipment including servers storage and network devices.
• Perform capacity planning to ensure the data center can handle current and future workloads.
• Develop and maintain data center documentation including equipment inventory floorplans and infrastructure diagrams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data center issues including power cooling and networkproblems.
• Work with IT facilities and operations teams to ensure data center compliance withindustry standards and regulations.
• Plan and execute data center upgrades and migrations.
• Research and recommend new data center technologies and best practices.
• Provide training and support to other teams as needed.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in data center infrastructure management.
• Strong understanding of data center technologies including power cooling and network systems.
• Experience with data center monitoring and management tools
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects at once.
