Job Summary:
Sea Breeze is looking for a reliable dependable hardworking team member to join our warehouse team in a Day Shift Freezer position. This is a hands-on warehouse position working with frozen food products in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role is responsible for handling storing and moving frozen goods in a temperature-controlled environment while ensuring accuracy safety and efficiency.Were looking for someone who shows up ready to work pays attention to detail and takes pride in getting the job done right.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in a freezer environment (typically -10F to 0F) for extended periods
- Pick pack and stage frozen products for shipping and distribution
- Stock rotate and organize frozen inventory
- Load and unload pallets using forklifts pallet jacks reach trucks pickers or other equipment
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and report discrepancies
- Inspect products for damage or quality issues
- Maintain clean and organized work areas within freezer and dock spaces
- Follow all food safety sanitation and warehouse safety procedures
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous freezer/cold storage warehouse experience
- Comfortable working in freezer temperatures for extended periods of time
- Operate Fork Lifts Cherry Pickers Reach Trucks and Pallet Jacks
- Dependable and punctual
- Team-oriented with a good work ethic and communication skills
- Willing to learn and take direction
- Warehouse order-picking food distribution or freezer experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to lift push and pull 2550 lbs regularly up to 75 lbs occasionally
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to work on your feet for extended shifts
