Job Title: Data Migration Solution Architect

Responsibilities:

Architecture & Design

• Define end-to-end data architecture for ingesting structured and unstructured data into Snowflake.
• Architect layered DWH (Raw/Bronze Curated/Silver Consumption/Gold) using dbt-based ELT frameworks.
• Establish scalable secure and performance-optimized data models.

Data Migration Leadership

• Design migration strategy for 14 systems including InsuranceNow.
• Define data mapping transformation logic and reconciliation frameworks.
• Implement data quality controls auditability and parallel validation mechanisms.

Analytics & Reporting Modernization

• Lead report rationalization and consolidation initiative.
• Design Power BI semantic layer and standardize KPIs.
• Eliminate redundant reports and enable unified business-friendly dashboards.

Governance & Quality

• Establish data governance lineage and metadata standards.
• Ensure compliance with insurance regulatory and audit requirements.
• Define quality KPIs and monitoring frameworks.

Required Skills:

• 10 years in data engineering / data architecture with enterprise-scale programs
• Proven expertise in:

• Snowflake & dbt
• Multi-source data migration (10 systems)
• Data modeling (dimensional / data vault)

• Hands-on experience in Power BI and report consolidation
• Strong understanding of structured unstructured data integration
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP)
• Knowledge of Cortex AI is a plus

Domain Expertise

• Insurance domain experience (P&C preferred)
• Understanding of policy claims billing and customer data models

Work Site: Raleigh NC

Duration: 6 Months

Expected Start Date: Immediate - 2 weeks
