Data Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices with a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable secure and efficient cloud solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cloud initiatives and optimize cloud resources.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement cloud architecture solutions on Google Cloud Platform that meet business requirements.

Collaborate with development operations and security teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services.

Conduct cloud readiness assessments and provide recommendations for cloud migration strategies.

Establish best practices for cloud governance security and compliance.

Monitor and optimize cloud performance cost and resource utilization.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends particularly within the Google Cloud ecosystem.

Document architecture designs processes and procedures for future reference.

Mandatory Skills:

Strong knowledge and experience as a Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.

Proficiency in designing and deploying cloud-native applications and services on GCP.

Experience with cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks.

Solid understanding of networking storage and compute services in GCP.

Ability to analyze and optimize cloud costs and performance.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.

Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Knowledge of other cloud platforms (AWS Azure) is a plus.

Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.

10 years of experience in cloud architecture and design.

Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification is mandatory.

Proven experience in leading cloud migration projects.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
