Cybersecurity Program Manager

Founded in 1953 Aerosonic has grown to be a leader in aviation instrumentation and avionics equipment including air data systems standby displays digital and mechanical standby instruments sensors and probes. Our customers include the major manufacturers of todays civil military and business fixed wing and rotorcraft platforms as well as all branches of the US military forces. We are currently seeking an a highly motivated and intellectually curious Cybersecurity Program Manager to join our dynamic Finance team in a growing aerospace company located in beautiful Clearwater FL.

What Youll Do:

Lead and maintain Aerosonics cybersecurity and compliance program ensuring alignment with NIST SP 800-171 CMMC Level 2 and applicable regulatory requirements.

Manage cybersecurity documentation and governance activities including the System Security Plan (SSP) risk register policies procedures and audit evidence.

Coordinate cybersecurity audits assessments and certification activities including preparation for CMMC and customer compliance reviews.

Identify assess and mitigate cybersecurity risks while overseeing vulnerability management and remediation efforts.

Serve as the primary liaison between Aerosonic managed service providers corporate leadership auditors and external stakeholders on cybersecurity matters.

Lead incident response security awareness training and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen the organizations overall security posture.

Collaborate with Engineering Operations Quality Human Resources and other departments to ensure cybersecurity requirements are integrated into business processes.

Assist with budget planning and resource management for cybersecurity initiatives and technology investments.

Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity Information Technology Information Systems or Computer Science

3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity information security compliance risk management or related discipline.

Working knowledge of cybersecurity and risk management frameworks.

Experience developing and maintaining security policies procedures risk assessments and compliance documentation.

Strong project management analytical communication and organizational skills.
