A premier global law firm is seeking a Cyber Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Associate Attorney to join its Seattle office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in advising emerging companies public companies technology companies financial institutions life sciences companies and media companies on sophisticated privacy cybersecurity and data protection matters.

47 years of cyber data privacy or cybersecurity experience gained at a sophisticated law firm or in-house legal department

Experience advising clients regarding CCPA CPRA GDPR and other U.S. and international privacy laws

Experience counseling clients on privacy compliance information security data governance and cybersecurity risk management

Experience supporting the privacy and cybersecurity aspects of corporate transactions technology transactions mergers & acquisitions and commercial agreements

Experience drafting and negotiating data processing agreements privacy provisions information security terms and commercial technology agreements

Experience advising clients regarding data breach response incident preparedness incident response planning regulatory investigations and cybersecurity events

Experience conducting privacy due diligence for corporate transactions

Strong drafting analytical project management and client counseling skills

Ability to independently manage sophisticated matters while maintaining significant client interaction

Outstanding academic credentials

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

Washington bar admission required or ability to become admitted

Premier global Cyber/Data/Privacy practice

Representation of leading technology life sciences financial services and emerging growth companies
