Cyber Analyst (Junior)

We areseekinga highly skilled and experiencedCyber Analystto join our team atMacDillAirForceBase (AFB) supportingAirMobilityCombat (AMC) Intelligence Directorate (A2)..The Cyber Analyst will play a critical role incybersecurity operationsandsystem/networkadministration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performcybersecurity operationsand system/networkadministrationto safeguard sensitive information and mission-critical systems.

• Support the development and implementation ofcyber defense measuresto protect against emerging threats.

• Monitor analyze and respond to cyber incidents ensuringtimelyresolution and reporting.

• Providesystem/networkadministration support including configuration maintenance and troubleshooting of enterprise and local network devices.

• Liaise with theEnterprise Service Desk (ESD)andEnterprise Service Center (ESC)to resolve technical issues and ensure system availability.

• Ensurecompliance with all security protocols policies and regulatory requirements.

• Some travel may be(<10%).

Required Qualifications:

• Experience Level:Minimum of 0 years with BS/BA; or 2 years with AS/AA or 4 years no degree
• DOD 8140 Compliance based on DCWF code 462 Intermediate

• Technical Expertise:

• Expertiseincryptologic supportcybersecurity operations andsystem administration.

• Advanced knowledge incyber defense tools network security and incident response methodologies.

• Familiarity withcyber threat analysis and mitigation strategies.

• Skills:

• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure mission-critical environment.

• Ability to manage multiple complex tasks in a properly sequenced manner based on mission priorities.

• Security Clearance:ActiveTop Secret/SCIclearance is.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supportingMAJCOM A2or similar organizations.

• Knowledge ofcryptologic systems tools and methodologies.

• Familiarity with Air Force cybersecurity policies and procedures.

• Certifications such asCompTIA SecurityCertified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent.
