Job Summary:
The Customer Service Representativeis responsible forbuilding andmaintaininga professional relationship with our Commodities storage and Precious Metals customers both international and domestic. The qualified candidate willbe responsible forreceiving and processing shipments from major customers international affiliates relating to domestic and international commodities shipments and storage orders and willbe responsible foreffectively communicating this information/coordinating delivery with Brinks Incorporated and domestic additionthis position willbe responsible forassistingthe Commodities team in pick pack initiatives andsupportother operational departments of thedivisionas necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to incoming communications from internal and external customers and where necessaryresolveand escalate issues as needed.
Provide information for allprecious metalservices.
Respond to inquiriesregardingstatus of shipments in transit; follow through on trace request as necessary; provide proof of delivery as requested.
Improvethe Customerfriendliness and ease of use of Customer Facing Solutions.
Handleadditionaladministrative responsibilities reports and/or projects that involve Customer Support at management discretion.
Research customer claims ensuring the highest level of customer service on every call and ensure that all service complaints are handled diplomatically channeling pertinent information to customer servicemanager.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Customer Service with a concentration inlogistics& supply chain or related field or internal BGS experience of a similar nature.
Minimum of 3 year of experience using MS Office and Windows applications
Mustbe 21years or older
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Officeapplications
Demonstrated record of achievement as a self-starter and team-player
Excellent detail orientation and follow-up skills
Bachelors Degree
