Custodians at USH are responsible for routine cleaning laundry and maintenance of our beautiful position is full-time (Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm)

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities and day to day responsibilities of this position:

• Sorts soiled linens washing drying folding and re-stocking clean linens on a daily basis.
• Cleans and maintains floors dusts waxes and polishes furniture washes windows mirrors and other glass or plastic items empties trash and garbage etc.
• Maintains building(s) and/or facilities in a clean and orderly condition and/or removes snow from sidewalks and doorways etc.
• Cleans sterilizes and or disinfects areas and/or equipment.
• Sets up and arranges tables and chairs.

Qualifications

The Minimum Qualifications:

• Familiar with basic housekeeping practices techniques and procedures.
• Physically able to meet the demands of the position which includes but is not limited to repetitive and continuous walking standing crouching lifting bending stooping pushing and pulling.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Comfortable using cleaning chemicals tools and equipment.

• Able to closely follow written or oral instruction and willingly accept training and feedback.
• Diligent reliable and trustworthy.
• Detail oriented when completing assigned cleaning duties.
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
