General Position Description: Performs all required aspects of general cleaning and upkeep of buildings grounds furniture equipment and other agency property. This positions is Part-time evening.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Cleans dusts mops sweeps vacuums and sanitizes the assigned areas which includes but not limited to classrooms bathrooms kitchen common areas offices reception area and meeting rooms.
Collects trash from all rooms and outdoor areas.
Replenishes supplies for all areas and ensures to notify of needed cleaning supplies.
Follow sanitation and licensing sanitation requirements for all other areas.
Organizes storage areas and cleaning supplies.
Participates in the process of ongoing professional development and meetings. Maintains comprehensive communication among all contacts within the agency members and external agencies. Models professional standards and ethics in accordance with EBF Code of Conduct Strategic Plan Mission and Vision.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements: Three 3 months of experience required. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
Regulatory
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Current unrestricted AZ drivers license with no more than two (2) minor moving violations or one (1) accident within the past three (3 years). Three (3) years of driving experience required.
Transportation to purchases supplies attend trainings and perform work related activities. Organizational vehicles may not be available at all times.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check prior to employment and regular checks for the duration of the employment.
Ability to obtain and maintain an AZ DPS Level 1 fingerprint clearance card (employer provides).
Skills/Job Knowledge/Abilities: Able to establish and maintain a team atmosphere of communication and collaboration for all that reach out to the Department. Must be self-directed and be sensitive to cultural and linguistic diversity. Excellent customer service in stressful situations. Maintains a professional in appearance communications and actions. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Knowledge of licensing regulations policies practices and procedures. Basic computer proficiency.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements (with or without accommodation): Kitchen classroom common areas and outside environments with multiple interruptions in person. Works with sharp objects cleaning and sanitizing substances and works with cooking appliances. Able to lift up to 50lbs for cleaning moving and sanitizing. Visual acuity to read information from computer screens and forms. Able to speak clearly in conversations general communications and to communicate verbally. Hearing ability for communication in persona phone and/or other electronic methods. Manual dexterity for cleaning. Able to stoop squat reach pull push stretch ascend and descend stairs stand and sit for long periods of time. May be required to work additional hours or days depending on circumstances.
