Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join an Indian Health Service facility in Pine Ridge South Dakota. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services while supporting a collaborative healthcare team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will be skilled in CT imaging committed to patient safety and experienced in maintaining the highest standards of image quality and radiation protection.
Requirements:

Current CT certification and documented competency performing Computed Tomography procedures

Experience producing diagnostic-quality CT images in a clinical setting

Knowledge of radiation safety practices including ALARA principles and dosimetry monitoring

Ability to meet all IHS credentialing onboarding security and background requirements

Ability to provide or comply with required radiation monitoring protocols and dosimeter badge requirements
Responsibilities:

Perform CT examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols

Produce high-quality diagnostic images while minimizing repeat scans

Select and adjust imaging protocols based on patient condition and clinical needs

Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all imaging procedures

Support CT-guided and interventional procedures as needed

Adhere to radiation safety standards exposure control practices and facility policies

Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record

Collaborate with radiologists providers and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient care

Ensure compliance with Indian Health Service standards and accrediting agency requirements

Assist in maintaining imaging equipment and reporting any operational concerns
