Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC isseeking an experienced CT Scan Technologist to perform advanced diagnostic CT imaging procedures in a hospital setting. The technologist will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images administering contrast media ensuring patient safety and supporting radiologists with accurate imaging studies.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform advanced CT imaging procedures and protocols
Review patient history and ensure accurate documentation
Prepare and verify contrast questionnaires with patients and families
Administer or assist with contrast media per physician orders
Verify imaging orders and coordinate with radiologists when clarification is needed
Manage prior imaging studies and maintain imaging records
Position and prepare patients for CT examinations
Perform IV access venipuncture and monitor contrast administration
Observe patients for adverse reactions during and after procedures
Ensure image quality patient identification and exam accuracy
Educate patients regarding procedures and imaging instructions
Follow hospital policies radiology protocols and safety standards
Assist with patient transfers positioning and mobility as needed
Required Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
High School Diploma or equivalent
Active New Jersey Diagnostic Radiography License
ARRT (R) Certification
AHA BLS Certification
Strong knowledge of anatomy physiology and CT imaging techniques
Experience using PACS systems
Ability to meet physical job requirements including lifting and standing for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications:
ARRT (CT) Certification
CT imaging experience
Experience with EPIC EMR and hospital RIS/HIS systems
Strong understanding of CT hardware and software systems
Ability to obtain ARRT (CT) certification if not currently certified
