Cryptography Engineer, SEAR

Embedded within Apples Security Engineering u0026 Architecture (SEAR) organization the Cryptographic Engineering teams mission is to deliver world-class cryptographic implementation and secure protocol engineering for products going in the hands of millions of customers. We are looking for an expert Cryptography Engineer with a strong software background capable of implementing and designing security countermeasures against side-channel and physical attacks for various algorithms.

We provide the cryptographic foundations protecting user data and valuable assets across all products including Mac iPhone iPad Apple Watch and Apple this role there will be the opportunity to work on analyzing proposing and validating innovative cryptographic solutions for our applications. nnWork in an innovative environment: n* Have a real impact on Apple features and products n* Collaborate with a wide range of collaborators from Silicon Engineering to Cloud services n* Implement and review innovative algorithms and protocols on a wide range of architectures and embedded systems design and implement side channel attack countermeasure improve performance formally prove the correctness of Apple cryptographic software n* Work cooperatively with other teams in Apple on multi-functional technologies and initiatives to improve security n* Evangelize and drive the adoption of these technologies across the organization
