What Youll Do
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on critical facility infrastructure
Monitor operate and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
Support operation of systems including UPS generators switchgear HVAC chillers CRAH/CRAC units fire and life-safety systems and Building Monitoring Systems (BMS)
Perform site inspections and respond to alarms incidents and emergencies
Execute maintenance procedures work orders circuit installations and equipment repairs
Develop and follow maintenance documentation including MOPs scripts permits and site logs
Coordinate and oversee vendor activities to ensure work is completed safely and in accordance with Equinix standards
Identify operational risks single points of failure and opportunities for infrastructure improvement
Support infrastructure projects equipment upgrades and operational excellence initiatives
Collaborate across Operations Engineering and Security teams to ensure facility reliability
Participate in a 24x7 operational environment including shift work on-call support weekends holidays and emergency response as required
