Corrosion Engineer

Vision Point Systems Inc. is currently recruiting for a talented innovative Corrosion Engineer. Duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Laboratory test plan development and execution.

• Field investigation.

• Data analysis.

• Technical writing.

• Maintain individual project schedule.

• Identifytopics for new projects.

• Write white papers/proposals for projects.

• Meet with customers/sponsors to communicate and review new project ideas andsolicitfeedback.

• Education: Bachelors degree in materials engineering mechanical engineering or other similar engineering degree from an accredited university or college isrequired

• The candidate must havedemonstratedprofessional writing and presentation skills along with an excellent ability to collaborate with a team.

• Candidates must be able to obtain andmaintaina Secret Security Clearance.

• 3years of applicable experience isrequired.

• Must be willing to work in Bethesda MD; Olney MD; and spent will be primarily in Bethesda and Olney but will on occasion require time in Fairfax as well.

Desired Skills:

• Experience working with and supporting US Navy and/or US Marine Corps programs is highly desired.

• Technicalexpertisein materials science/engineering (especially corrosion and coatings) electrical engineering mechanical engineering and military vehicle/ship platforms is desired.

• Experience with data analysis and statistics is a plus.
