We are looking for a talented transactional attorney to support our rapidly growing and evolving Devices & Services business. You will work closely with business development product and go-to-market teams as counsel on strategic partnership deals across a variety of products including Appstore distribution deals with major app developers Fire TV integration deals with third-party device manufacturers and inbound technology transactions for other Amazon products (such as e-Readers Tablets and Alexa products). You will structure draft and negotiate a range of agreements and counsel internal clients on various legal issues related to business operations. You will develop strategies for handling legal issues in creative business-centric ways and build processes that address risk and allow the business flexibility and freedom to move quickly.

- 5 years of post bar admission legal experience
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- Experience in transactional and technology licensing or equivalent

- Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work
- Experience handling ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong problem solving abilities
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills attention to detail and effective communication abilities or experience in managing and troublshooting network
- 4 years of experience structuring drafting and negotiating complex software licensing and other technology transactions in support of product development and launch
- Technical background (computer science electrical or mechanical engineering preferred) with strong knowledge of software and hardware development and design
- Knowledge of the media space including over-the-top (OTT) video streaming services and business trends
- Ability to work independently while also contributing successfully to cross-functional teams

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
