As a Cook youll play an important role in the traveler experience. From preparing fresh quality meals to keeping the kitchen running smoothly youll help ensure that every guest receives delicious food and friendly service before they continue on their journey.

This is a fast-paced airport environment where no two shifts are exactly the same. If you take pride in your work enjoy being part of a team and can keep your cool when the kitchen heats up we want to hear from you.

As a member of our kitchen team you will:

• Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Consistently deliver high-quality food that meets the expectations of our guests and management.
• Prepare ingredients and complete food preparation for service.
• Work short-order stations and prepare meals efficiently during busy travel periods.
• Operate fryers and flat-top grills safely and effectively.
• Follow proper food-handling procedures and maintain safe food temperatures to prevent foodborne illness.
• Maintain a clean organized and efficient kitchen workspace.
• Follow all health safety sanitation and food-safety guidelines.
• Restock ingredients products and kitchen supplies as needed.
• Work closely with other team members to keep service moving efficiently.
• Interact with guests in a positive friendly and professional manner when needed.
• Follow direction from management and consistently meet restaurant standards.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for safely handling kitchen equipment and utensils.
• The ability to perform knife skills such as chopping slicing cutting and dicing.
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to stand for extended periods and work in a hot kitchen environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including busy travel periods.

Previous cooking or food-service experience is a plus butwe are willing to train the right person.
