A well-established consulting firm in Uptown Oklahoma City is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead its accounting and finance function. This is a true ownership role with a seat on a small senior leadership team.

What Youll Do

• Own month-end close financial reporting budgeting forecasting cash flow AP/AR tax coordination audits and insurance-related compliance
• Lead and develop a small accounting and administrative team
• Oversee accounting across multiple entities plus light administrative and facilities oversight
• Manage commission accounting contracts and related agency/vendor matters
• Coordinate payroll and benefits administration with the companys PEO including enrollment eligibility and renewals
• Serve as the main point of contact for HR payroll benefits and compliance matters
• Participate in leadership meetings to help shape company strategy

What You Bring

• Bachelors degree in Accounting
• Insurance-industry experience
• 7 years of progressive accounting experience including 25 years in leadership
• Hands-on ownership of close reporting budgeting forecasting cash flow AP/AR compliance and audit/tax coordination
• Proven ability to lead and develop a small team
• Strong technical skills sound judgment discretion and executive presence
• Ability to work onsite in Uptown OKC
