Core Responsibilities

• Lead all financial accounting reporting and monthend close activities with full GAAP and regulatory compliance.
  

• Manage governmental accounting processes including milestone payments FAR compliance and agency interactions.
  

• Drive budgeting forecasting and financial planning to support strategic growth.
  

• Oversee cost accounting analyze cost structures and recommend improvements to enhance profitability.
  

• Serve as the primary contact for external audits and regulatory reviews.
  

• Strengthen internal controls and ensure consistent compliance across financial workflows.
  

• Partner with operations leadership and project teams to align financial processes with business goals
  

Requirements

Experience

• 810 years of experience as a Controller or senior financial leader.
  

• 5 years in manufacturing with handson responsibility for governmental accounting and compliance.
  

Technical Expertise

• Strong command of GAAP cost accounting and manufacturing financial operations.
  

• Deep understanding of governmental accounting FAR compliance and audit requirements.
  

• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
  

Leadership & Skills

• Proven ability to lead and develop highperforming teams.
  

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into clear recommendations.
  

• Exceptional attention to detail organization and problemsolving.
