Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the accounting team across AR AP Inventory/Cost Accounting and Payroll functions.
- Manage monthly quarterly and annual financial close processes ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Oversee revenue recognition project accounting and compliance with ASC 606 standards.
- Direct inventory valuation cost accounting COGS analysis cycle counts and inventory controls.
- Monitor working capital performance including accounts receivable inventory accounts payable and cash flow management.
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP tax regulations and corporate policies.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and support regulatory reporting requirements.
- Oversee banking relationships cash management reconciliations and payment authorization controls.
- Drive process improvements automation initiatives and ERP optimization to enhance financial visibility and efficiency.
- Partner with Operations Sales HR and Finance leadership to provide financial insights that support business performance and decision-making.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field (CPA preferred).
- Progressive accounting leadership experience preferably within manufacturing industrial equipment or distribution environments.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Financial reporting and month-end close
- Revenue recognition (ASC 606)
- Inventory and cost accounting
- Intercompany accounting
- Internal controls and audit management
- ERP experience (SAP preferred; SAP Business One a plus).
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with reporting tools such as Power BI and OneStream is advantageous.
- Proven ability to lead teams improve processes and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
