Construction Technician

• Ability to safely perform ground and aerial construction work for telecommunication structures.
• Develop a knowledge of tower components tower connections and foundations including the ability to read and understand construction documents and plans.
• Possess strong verbal communication skills.
• Strictly obey safety practices and policies in accordance with company client industry and governmental regulations and policies.
• Perform work duties related to maintaining and installing hardware and equipment on wireless telecommunication sites.
• Develop the ability to troubleshoot site specific field issues.
• Obtain a basic knowledge of rigging techniques and principles including the ability to adhere to rigging plans.
• Ability to learn construction means and methods via hands-on training.
• Ability to operate equipment and possess the ability to identify materials tools and specialty equipment required to complete project scopes.
• Assist with daily housekeeping to maintain well-organized clean and secure project sites vehicles trailers toolboxes and equipment.
• Ability to work well with your hands.
• Accurately complete travel expense reports and timesheets each week.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Word and Excel is preferred.

• Possess or ability to obtain the following company provided certifications:
  • Competent Climber/Certified Rescuer.
  • First Aid/ CPR Certification.
  • OSHA 10 Hour.
  • RF/EME Awareness.
  • NWSA TTT-1
• Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license and be insurable under the companys standards employment contingent upon passing a motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background test.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds.
• Ability to work at heights.
