Position Overview
Legacy Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator on behalf of a construction client. This role supports the Project Manager and Senior Project Manager in overseeing project execution maintaining documentation coordinating stakeholders and ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate is highly organized communicates effectively and thrives in a fast-paced construction environment. This position is a promotional pathway to a Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination
Assist the Project Manager in establishing project objectives procedures data collection methods and performance standards
Support planning activities to ensure alignment with company policies and project requirements
Communication & Stakeholder Management
Communicate schedule updates to supervisors subcontractors and stakeholders in a timely manner
Maintain consistent communication across all project teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and met
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
Project Oversight & Reporting
Monitor budgets schedules and project data systems
Provide regular status reports to the Project Manager
Identify potential risks and communicate issues that may impact cost or timelines
Support to Senior Project Manager
Work closely with the Senior Project Manager providing day-to-day project support
Contribute to overall project success through coordination and follow-through on assigned tasks
Administrative & Documentation Management
Maintain project documentation including RFIs change orders drawings and sketches
Track and update project records to ensure accuracy and accessibility
Assist in obtaining close-out documents and maintaining vendor/subcontractor lists
Procurement & Bidding Support
Assist with the bidding process including sending invitations and collecting bids
Support procurement efforts by coordinating with vendors and subcontractors
Design & Drawing Support
Assist in design and drawing development aligned with project specifications
Print and organize drawings and specifications as needed
Data Tracking & Reporting
Maintain project data in systems such as Autodesk Forma and other platforms as required
Compile and prepare reports for weekly project meetings
Present updates and data insights during team meetings
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Projects delivered on budget
Projects completed on schedule
Effective project system oversight (e.g. Procore or similar platforms)
Qualifications
Experience in construction project coordination or a related field preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
