Kleinfelders Ontario CA office is seeking an entry level Construction Materials Testing Technician / Driver to join our team on a flex basis.

We provide construction inspection and materials testing services to a broad range of local and national clients. We are looking for individuals who are interested in joining a dynamic team and building their career in the field of construction inspection and materials testing.

Were looking for a person with strong initiative who will perform routine driving sample running field/laboratory documentation data entry and laboratory testing. The successful candidate will be put on a career plan for an opportunity to advance their career into becoming a full-time Special Inspector and/or Materials Testing Technician.

Desired Skills

• Willingness to work in the soil aggregate concrete asphalt masonry and steel laboratory when needed
• Demonstrate the ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team
• Excellent organizational and communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to learn and grow with technological demands pertaining to daily field reports field documentation and data and laboratory test reports

In addition to the above desired skills hiring preference with be given to those with any of the following desired certifications:

• ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician Grade 1
• ACI Concrete Strength Testing Technician
• Caltrans Soil Aggregate Concrete and/or Asphalt

The successful candidate will be encouraged to expand their skills and certifications through company provided training and mentoring. This is a career opportunity to become a member of a highly successful fast-paced team with a steady and growing backlog of large projects.

Must be able to use a computer and have a general knowledge of MS Office including Word Excel and Outlook. Must have own vehicle a valid drivers license and a clean driving record is required.

Education:High school diploma or equivalent required

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the California Pay Transparency Law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Pay Range:$20 - $23/hr.
