Job Summary
Supports the testing and basic troubleshooting of computer systems and software. Position also includes writing test procedures and reports some domestic travel (1-2 weeks per year) occasional 2nd or 3rd shift testing and performing other similar tasks to support the team.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)
- Performs routine software and hardware testing of computer systems using provided test tools.
- Performs routine maintenance and upgrades as required.
- Follows established test procedures and scripts to validate the performance of software and hardware.
- Reports testing failures faults or inconsistencies as instructed.
- Records test results updates documentation and assists in preparing technical reports.
- Completes all required documentation pre and post test write ups and correspondence with test leadership.
- Performs basic troubleshooting of software and hardware issues.
- Assists senior technicians with more complicated test scenarios and special projects.
- Complies with all operational security and safety guidelines and procedures.
