Job Summary:
The Electronic Systems Technician is responsible for administering maintaining and supporting assigned systems to ensure secure reliable and efficient operations. The position provides technical expertise for system implementation maintenance troubleshooting upgrades and lifecycle support while ensuring compliance with Government security and operational requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain assigned enterprise systems.
- Perform system configuration troubleshooting maintenance and upgrades.
- Monitor system health performance and availability.
- Resolve technical issues and support end users as required.
- Ensure compliance with Government security policies and procedures.
- Maintain technical documentation and system configuration records.
- Support system testing implementation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:
- Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance (minimum requirement).
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of three (3) years of direct hands-on experience administering maintaining or supporting the specific systems for which the individual is responsible.
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting configuring maintaining and sustaining enterprise systems in a secure environment.
- Professional Certification in at least one of the seven core systems listed below:
- Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) system.
- Cardholder Identity Management referred to as the Privilege Management Program (PMP)
- Physical Access Control Systems (PACS) to include Intrusion Detection System (IDS)
- Video Surveillance/Analytics System
- Perimeter Intrusion Detection and Barriers Systems
- Vehicle and Personnel Screening
- Mission Applications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting Federal Government or Department of Defense (DoD) systems is preferred.
Work Location: On-site support.
Compensation: $73140 - $109710. The salary range posted is for Washington DC. The offered rate will be based on contract affordability the selected candidates knowledge skills abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses commissions or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus relocation benefits short-term incentives long-term incentives or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
