Composite Manufacturing Engineer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support sales with new proposals including costing design efforts and scheduling
• Participate in facility layout and process flow
• Develops and implements process control techniques and procedures into manufacturing environments
• Analyzes manufacturing process flows continually for the enhancements of quality cost reduction and output
• Collaborates with program engineering regarding product tooling and design to ensure effectual production methods
• Works closely with manufacturing department to develop coordinate and implement manufacturing build plans and create technical training for employees
• Design and develop manufacturing processes for enhancements product changes new products related fixtures & tooling that are consistent with zero defect level and low product cost
• Creates and maintains accurate documentation of tool drawings design concepts shop orders and concepts in accordance with the manufacturing engineering standards
• Provides engineering support in production environment to trouble shoot and resolve technical problems
• Supports company policies and procedures goals and objectives and manufacturing practices
• Performs production readiness evaluation and producibility assessment of all engineering changes.
