Location: Meeker Colorado
Pay Rate: $40 to $43/hr
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Days with Variable On-Call
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Start Date: 06/03/2026
Experience: Minimum 5 years required; 10 years preferred

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Medical Lab Technologist for a 13-week contract opportunity in Meeker Colorado. This role requires strong laboratory experience current certification and the ability to perform diagnostic testing specimen collection and result interpretation in a hospital laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic laboratory procedures on blood and body fluids.

• Collect specimens from patients as required.

• Conduct laboratory tests and analyze results accurately.

• Draw conclusions from test results and report findings appropriately.

• Support daily laboratory operations and workflow.

• Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech.

• Follow laboratory safety quality control and infection control standards.

• Rotate weekday call and every fourth weekend call as required.

Requirements

• Current active state license required.

• ASCP CLS or equivalent certification required.

• Current registered MLT or MLS required.

• Minimum 5 years of laboratory experience required.

• 10 years of lab experience strongly preferred.

• Meditech experience preferred.

• Holiday coverage required.

• Must be able to rotate call on weekdays and every fourth weekend.

• Traveler permanent address must be at least 65 miles from the facility.

• Local travelers will not be considered.

• Facility housing may be available subject to facility terms.

• No pets and no smoking allowed for facility housing.
