Job Summary
Now Hiring a CNC Machine Operator for a great company in Hudson OH!
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC mill and lathe machines
- Document production progress using data collection sheets and Microsoft Navision software
- Perform machine tool adjustments after completing training
- Use measuring equipment to ensure product quality and accuracy
- Maintain quality and safety standards at all times
- Work as a team player and collaborate with all departments
- Operate inspection and measurement tools such as calipers micrometers gages comparators and CMM equipment
- Assist with moving materials using a forklift and pallet jack
- Use hand tools for deburring and cutting as needed
- Lift up to 50 lbs and maintain a clean organized work area
Schedule:
1st Shift: 6:00am - 4:30pm (Monday - Thursday)
2nd Shift: 6:00pm - 4:30am (Monday - Thursday)
2nd Shift: 3:00pm - 11:30am (Monday - Friday)
Weekend 1st Shift: 6:00am - 6:00pm (Friday - Sunday)
Weekend 2nd Shift: 6:00pm - 6:00am (Friday - Sunday)
Compensation: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour (Paid Weekly)
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
2 years of CNC Machine Operation experience
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork skills
Ability to work overtime as needed
Preferred Skills:
Blueprint reading
Tow motor (forklift) experience
Experience with precision measurement instruments (micrometers calipers height gages comparators)
Attention to detail with small parts and finishes
