Following a major expansion Holy Cross Hospital Jordan Valleys capacity tripled now housing 171 beds to serve our growing community. We are a Level III Trauma center STEMI Cardiac receiving center and certified stroke treatment center. Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) you will provide essential direct and indirect nursing care under the proficient direction of a Registered Nurse aligning with established policies and procedures to optimize your skills and contribute to our patient-centered mission.

Every day you will perform vital patient care tasks support nursing staff and actively participate in a supportive team environment where your skills and experience are highly valued with clear pathways for professional development and career advancement.

To be successful in this role you will be committed to practicing at the top of your license possess a strong work ethic a compassionate approach to patient care and the ability to collaborate effectively within a dynamic healthcare team.

  • Provides quality patient care including comfort and hygiene measures preventative skin care safety measures transport and nutritional and elimination needs.
  • Promptly answers call lights and responds to patient needs. Reports patient status changes and needs to Registered Nurse accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Accurately documents vital signs input/output nutritional intake personal hygiene weights and other patient care performed and reports findings promptly to Registered Nurse.
  • Maintains thorough and confidential maintenance of patient charts and records.
  • Assists with safe and appropriate delegated patient care tasks which are directly supervised by the nurse.
  • Provides person-centeredcare with sensitivity and respect for the human experience in a collaborative fashion with other team members.
  • Communicates concerns regarding hazards or errors related to patients to the health care team.
Job Requirements

Required

  • High School Diploma/G.E.D.
  • Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program
  • State registered CNA license

Preferred

  • Six (6) months previous CNA or healthcare experience.
