Work Schedule: Full-Time Monday-Friday 40 Hours Weekly

Keystone Health is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join the team at Keystone Internal Medicine in Waynesboro.

Were a fast-paced expanding Community Health Center looking for a compassionate and motivated Medical Assistant who is passionate about patient care and improving the wellness of our neighbors.

The ideal candidate is organized detail-oriented adaptable and able to thrive in a collaborative fast-paced environment.

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting Program required
• Current CPR/BLS certification required
• Prior experience in a medical office setting preferred
• Experience using an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system preferred

• Room and prepare patients for provider visits
• Obtain and document vital signs medical history and patient information
• Answer and return patient phone calls in a timely and professional manner
• Request and manage medical records for new patients
• Track referrals labs and diagnoses to ensure timely follow-up care
• Complete medication prior authorizations as needed
• Assist providers with clinical procedures and patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system
• Coordinate with providers and staff to support efficient patient flow
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
• Support a positive team-oriented work environment
