Key Responsibilities
- Design build and maintain cloud-native solutions on AWS with emphasis on scalability security and automation.
- Implement and manage Kubernetes workloads on Amazon EKS including cluster configuration scaling and maintenance.
- Develop serverless solutions using AWS Lambda API Gateway and event-driven architectures.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated deployments and infrastructure changes.
- Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for provisioning and managing AWS resources.
- Configure and manage VPC networking including subnets security groups NACLs and routing.
- Implement and enforce IAM policies roles and permission boundaries following least-privilege principles.
- Manage S3 storage solutions including lifecycle policies versioning encryption and cross-account access.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure health and respond to operational incidents and alerts.
- Collaborate with architecture and security teams to implement compliant and optimized cloud solutions.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 7 years of hands-on experience designing implementing and supporting cloud-native solutions on AWS.
- Strong proficiency with Amazon EKS Lambda S3 IAM API Gateway and VPC networking.
- Extensive experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation and state management.
- Proficiency with GitHub Actions for building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
- Strong understanding of AWS security best practices including IAM KMS and encryption at rest/in transit.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch Prometheus Grafana).
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional or AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate preferred.
- Familiarity with federal compliance requirements (FedRAMP FISMA) preferred.
- Knowledge of tax-processing or large-scale government data platforms highly preferred.
