As a Clinical Informatics Analyst you will serve as the subject matter expert for the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and other clinical systems leading implementation optimization training and support initiatives. What Youll Do
- Builds tests implements and supports computer applications and healthcare information systems that drive organizational business operations and clinical initiatives.
- Serves as the primary internal Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system providing leadership in system implementation optimization troubleshooting and ongoing maintenance.
- Leads and supports EHR deployment projects ensuring successful adoption system enhancements workflow integration and long-term performance improvements.
- Acts as a liaison between Information Systems clinical staff and hospital leadership to facilitate effective communication and alignment of technology solutions with operational needs.
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to analyze clinical and business workflows identify improvement opportunities and configure EHR functionality to enhance efficiency compliance and patient care outcomes.
- Provides end-user support training and guidance to maximize EHR utilization and ensure a positive user experience.
- Partners with stakeholders to develop and implement strategic technology initiatives that support both short-term operational goals and long-term organizational objectives.
- Evaluates system performance and recommends enhancements to improve workflow efficiency data integrity regulatory compliance and overall clinical effectiveness.
Qualifications
- At least five (5) years experience and knowledge in clinical system implementations (EMR Ancillary Reporting Analytics Clinical Quality etc.)
- Working knowledge of clinical operations in an acute care setting
- Experience and knowledge with clinical reporting analytics and dashboard development.
- Knowledge of change management IT hardware and project management
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and ARRA Meaningful Use requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to multitask and maintain a work pace appropriate to workload
- Ability to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative team environment
- Provides after hour and weekend support as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of CPSI/ EMR incluing Epic Oracle Health (Cerner) MEDITECH Expanse CPSI or other acute care EHR platforms
- Experience supporting CMS Joint Commission quality reporting patient safety initiatives and project management.
Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions
- Our organization follows an in person work structure where the expectation is to work onsite on a weekly basis. The hospital is located at 14662 Newport Ave Tustin CA 92780.
- The total compensation target pay range for this role is $113000 - $150000 annually. The salary range represents our national target range for this role.
