Are you highly organized detail-oriented and passionate about helping others Join our team as aClaim Assistant where youll play a key role in supporting Claims Adjusters and ensuring injured workers receive prompt professional service throughout the claims process.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys administrative work customer service and working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy matters. Insurance experience is not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who brings a positive attitude strong technical skills and a commitment to excellence.
- Open and establish new workers compensation claims and assign claims to the appropriate adjuster.
- Support the claims team with correspondence forms document preparation filing and mail processing.
- Process and pay invoices while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Serve as a helpful resource for injured workers employers medical providers and internal team members by responding to questions and directing inquiries appropriately.
- Maintain claim diaries follow-up activities and file documentation.
- Assist adjusters and management with information requests and administrative support.
- Help ensure claims are handled efficiently accurately and in compliance with company standards.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Comfortable using technology and entering data accurately.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Insurance or claims experience is helpful but not required.
