Position Overview

This is a leadership opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer Project Manager (PE) to join a multidisciplinary engineering firm that prioritizes collaboration technical excellence and long-term client this role you will lead land development and infrastructure projects across a broad range of sectors including K-12 higher education municipal commercial restaurant and mixed-use developments. Youll manage projects from concept through completion while making high-level engineering decisions and driving successful project execution.

The firm operates within integrated multi-disciplinary studios where engineers collaborate closely across Civil MEP and Structural disciplines to deliver coordinated high-performance solutions. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives balancing technical leadership client management permitting strategy and mentorship responsibilities while contributing to long-term business growth and engineering excellence.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead land development and civil engineering projects including drainage stormwater systems water systems sanitary sewer systems parking facilities and roadway infrastructure
• Utilize Civil 3D and stormwater management software to develop exhibits engineering plans and construction documentation
• Perform stormwater design drainage analysis and permitting coordination for land development projects
• Review local state and federal regulations to ensure compliance throughout project design and permitting processes
• Analyze reports surveys topographic data and engineering documentation to support project planning and design decisions
• Make independent engineering decisions while coordinating closely with senior leadership and multidisciplinary project teams
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards budgets schedules and internal QA/QC requirements
• Conduct site investigations and provide construction observation support during active project phases
• Participate in business development efforts including proposal development client acquisition and relationship management
• Mentor junior engineers and support technical staff development across project teams
• Coordinate with clients municipalities consultants and internal teams to maintain successful project delivery and communication

Required Qualifications

• Licensure: Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• Experience: Minimum 8 years of civil engineering and land development experience
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of land development engineering stormwater management drainage design and permitting coordination
• Software: Proficiency in Civil 3D and stormwater analysis/design software
• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of local state and federal codes standards and permitting requirements
• Project Management: Experience managing project budgets schedules staffing and multidisciplinary coordination efforts
• Leadership: Proven ability to mentor engineering teams and oversee QA/QC processes
• Communication: Strong client-facing communication problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
• Work Authorization: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship requirements
