Job Summary
Qualifications
- Knowledge of the game of chess and ability to instruct beginners
High School or equivalent
Current CPR certification and First Aid training
Responsibilities
Instruct grades 1-4 chess club with availability for after schooltime frame 3:30pm-5pm once per week from November - February.
Supports and upholds the mission and values of the International School of Texas
Maintains confidentiality regarding school matters
Continually monitors and supervises all activities of the participants
Follows school policies regarding safety guidelines
Demonstrates professionalism in conduct demeanor and work habits
Able to instruct students about proper strategy skills and rules
Uses approved corrective and positive discipline procedures in dealing with inappropriate student conduct
Required to maintain composure
