Schedule:32 Hours Evenings Every Other Weekend Part-Time Benefit Eligible

Position Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse assigned performs a variety of direct patient care activities in caring for the personal needs and comforts of the care that addresses the specific needs of age groups from infant to elderly as well as accommodating a variety of needs specific to impairments such as hearing sight substance abuse language barriers and potential victims of knowledge and understanding of our commitment to patient rights exceptional care and the hospitals values and mission into his/her performance of job patient privacy and confidentiality at all duties specific to labor and delivery such as but not limited to setting up delivery tables giving babies baths andobservingsterile techniques.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

Knowledge of medical terminology to communicate effectively in English with staff and patients be able to prioritize multiple requests to ensure timeliness and provide exceptional patient skills to be compassionateempatheticand responsive to the needs of a variety of patients.

Education:High school diploma or equivalent isrequired.

Experience:One year of Nursingassistanceexperience in a hospital settingrequired

Certification/Licensure:Mustpossessa valid Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant license or show proof of enrollment inaccredited nursing school and completion of the courses Fundamentals of Nursing I & activeBasic Life Support Certificationfrom American Heart Association.

Software/Hardware:Computer experience is preferred.

Compensation Range:

$18.15- $26.97

This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer.
