Pay Rate: $18 per hour travel stipends if applicable
Schedule: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)

Contract Length: 1 year with the option to extend

• Federal contract in bidding process open for locals and travelers.

Benefits: $5.09 per hour for Health and Welfare 10 days PTO Accrued sick days and 11 Paid Holidays.

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join an IHS healthcare facility in Dulce NM. This position supports nursing and medical staff in providing high-quality patient care while assisting with clinical administrative and patient support duties in a fast-paced outpatient setting
Requirements:

• Current CNA certification

• Resume demonstrating relevant education training and experience

• CPR/BLS certification preferred

• Strong communication and patient care skills

• Basic computer proficiency and knowledge of medical terminology

• Ability to meet IHS credentialing and background requirements

Responsibilities:

Assist nursing and medical staff with direct patient care and daily clinical operations.
Escort patients to exam rooms obtain vital signs height and weight and document information in the EHR.
Support patient intake appointment scheduling reminder calls and patient outreach.
Prepare and maintain exam rooms supplies and medical equipment.
Assist with wound care oxygen administration immunization updates and point-of-care testing.
Perform sterilization and autoclaving of medical instruments while maintaining infection control standards.
Assist with patient screenings related to social risk factors depression safety and wellness.
Serve as a patient chaperone during examinations and procedures when needed.
Provide clerical and administrative support to nursing and medical teams.
Deliver compassionate professional and culturally sensitive care to patients of all ages.
