Adelphi is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to provide nursing care and services at a correctional facility in Buckingham Virginia. The ideal candidate will provide nursing care to patients through collaborative efforts with health team members while adhering to standards of care and practice.

Responsibilities:
Participates in the screening evaluation and care of inmates while under the supervision of a physician and/or registered nurse.
Record patients medical information and vital signs.
Prepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments.
Prepare rooms sterile instruments equipment or supplies and ensure that stock of supplies is maintained.
Coordinate with other medical and ancillary personnel as required to ensure continuity of care.
Monitor record and report symptoms or changes in patients condition.
Provide appropriate nursing interventions in emergency situations.
Comply with all state requirements and facility policies and procedures.
Additional duties as assigned by facility.
