- Curriculum Design & Instruction Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with state standards and school philosophy.
- Classroom Leadership Supervise mentor and delegate tasks to assistant teachers and aides; maintain a cohesive teaching team.
- Child Development & Assessment Observe assess and document childrens progress across developmental domains; adapt instruction to individual needs.
- Behavior Guidance Establish and enforce classroom rules and procedures to support positive behavior and social development.
- Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum working with Infants Toddlers or Preschool children in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
- Family Communication Lead parentteacher conferences and maintain ongoing communication about childrens progress needs and behavior.
- Program & School Support Participate in meetings collaborate with other departments and represent the school to stakeholders when needed
- Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- State teaching certification or license in early childhood education (varies by state).
- 2 years of preschool classroom experience including experience leading or mentoring staff.
- Knowledge of child development developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
- Strong interpersonal communication and leadership skills.
