Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Case Assistant to provide administrative and clerical support to a Counselor. The ideal candidate will be organized dependable and comfortable handling medical records psych-educational reports case files and other sensitive documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read printed PDF files handwritten documents medical records psych-educational reports letters articles and websites aloud as needed.
  • Scan and upload medical records reports letters and other documents into the computer system.
  • Complete referral forms intake forms and other required paperwork by hand when necessary.
  • Organize maintain and file case folders and related documentation.
  • Make photocopies and send faxes as required.
  • Review and sort incoming paper mail.
  • Assist with submitting and reading receipts as requested.
  • Review and verify MRCIS documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Locate required documents reports and other information within case files.
  • Check case files for required signatures and supporting documentation.
  • Provide transportation to meetings and training sessions when needed.
  • Perform other administrative and clerical duties as assigned by the Counselor.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Positive attitude and willingness to assist others.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to read a high volume of documents including medical reports clearly and accurately.
  • Efficient typing and basic computer skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Word Excel and Outlook.
  • Reliable dependable and able to complete assigned tasks independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
