Clinical Shift Schedule: 2 days per week 6 hours per day (MondayFriday specific days to be confirmed)

Case Mix: Cardiothoracic surgical patient care including pre-op intra-op and post-op management

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
Endoscopic radial vein harvesting
Endoscopic saphenous vein harvesting
Ultrasound-guided arterial and venous access for central line placement
Chest tube and pigtail insertion/removal
Swan-Ganz catheter insertion/removal
Removal of pacing wires
Cardioversion
First and second assist responsibilities in cardiothoracic surgery
Bedside assistant support for robotic procedures
Operation and removal of intra-aortic balloon pump
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses: Active unrestricted license in any U.S. state or territory
Board: NCCPA Certified
DEA: Required
Certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA)
Experience: Must have documented experience with 100 endoscopic vein harvesting procedures
Other Qualifications: Strong cardiothoracic surgical assisting experience required no history of license restrictions or disciplinary actions
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Provide inpatient cardiothoracic surgical support and patient management
Perform endoscopic vein harvesting procedures
Assist in cardiothoracic surgical procedures as first and second assist
Perform bedside procedures and post-operative patient care
Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical and inpatient care teams
Ensure timely documentation and adherence to facility protocols
