    LCMC Health Physician Services is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our established Urology practice in Marrero Louisiana. This provider will work collaboratively with physicians clinical staff and support teams to deliver high-quality patient-centered urologic care in an outpatient setting.

    This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced or newly graduated APP who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while practicing within a supportive team-oriented environment.

    Position Responsibilities
    • Perform comprehensive patient assessments obtain medical histories and conduct physical examinations
    • Diagnose treat and manage acute and chronic urologic conditions under established protocols and collaborative agreements
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
    • Order interpret and communicate diagnostic testing results
    • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans medications and preventive care
    • Respond promptly to patient calls messages and clinical concerns
    • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
    • Coordinate patient care and collaborate with physicians nursing staff and specialists
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical team meetings
    • Promote patient safety and adherence to infection prevention standards
    • Demonstrate professional leadership and commitment to LCMC Healths mission and values
    Qualifications

    Nurse Practitioner Candidates

    • Masters or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
    • Current Louisiana Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Current Louisiana Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license
    • Current national certification as a Nurse Practitioner
    • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

    Physician Assistant Candidates

    • Masters Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
    • Current Louisiana Physician Assistant license or eligibility for licensure
    • National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification required
    • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Prior urology surgical primary care or specialty clinic experience preferred
    • Strong clinical assessment and patient education skills
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team
    • Commitment to providing compassionate high-quality patient care
