As a Cardiac Rehab RN you will be a pivotal caregiver guiding patients through critical cardiac recovery and empowering them and their families with life-changing support and education.

Every day you will expertly assess complex cardiac conditions meticulously monitor patient progress and collaborate seamlessly with our multidisciplinary team to optimize healing and long-term wellness plans ensuring no two days are alike.

Responsibilities:

• Supervises the staff and department under the direction of the CNO.
• Provides direct nursing services to cardiac/pulmonary rehab patients adapted to the patients age and needs: Initiates and revises the plan of care assists in discharge planning assess patients provides education and accurately documents each encounter.
• Demonstrates accountability for and contribution to program development quality improvement problem solving and productivity enhancement in a flexible team fashion.
• Revises and initiates new policies according to AACVPR and facility guidelines.
• Takes immediate action in unsafe situations (example: proper tagging and reporting of equipment malfunction or wiping up water/urine spills). IRIS reporting.
• Shares expertise by mentoring precepting or teaching an in-service or class.

• Associate Of Nursing Sys/Div/Mkt/Local Supervisor OR Bachelors Degree and minimum of one (1) year experience in the discipline or three (3) years experience in the discipline or Masters Degree
• Registered Nurse: ND
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - CPR
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 Days

Preferred

• One-year ICU/Medical/Surgical experience
