Campus Supervision Aide (3.75 HRS), Buena Park High School

CAMPUS SUPERVISION AIDEBASIC FUNCTION:Under supervision assist administration in monitoring student and non-student behavior; encourage proper behavior on campus; and perform related duties as OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: and control student behavior in non-classroom activities before during and after school hours; campus grounds parking lots restrooms etc.; students and non-students in proper and lawful behavior; in the monitoring of non-students on campus to prevent loitering; incidents such as smoking drinking or drug usage to the campus administration; reports for District and law enforcement agencies; recommendations to administration regarding campus security as appropriate; suspects committing or attempting to commit crimes on campus premises; and deliver students and non-students to administration as authorized; administrator in supervising the overall conduct of students as assigned;KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: of Penal Code sections and District policies related to orderly conduct on campus property desired; to establish and maintain the respect of students staff and campus visitors; to monitor and control the behavior and activities of students within established guidelines; to write concise and descriptive reports; to establish and maintain effective working relationships with from high school.
