POSITION PROFILE

Prepare culinary delights salads sandwiches bagel sandwiches using high quality prepared ingredients for our neighborhood guests and hotel clientele. Be responsible for the daily preparation of food items including baking pastries in a commercial oven. Maintain strict adherence to food safety sanitation and cleanliness standards. Work efficiently in a FUN environment. Smile.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILTIES

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards use records production and portion standards per order specks.
• Remember all the multiple orders and easily assemble them to specifications.
• Check pars for shift use determine necessary preparation freezer pull and line set up. Note any out-of-stock items or possible shortages.
• Control food waste loss and usage.
• Prepare food items including salads sandwiches and baked pastries using prepped ingredients and commercial ovens.
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety sanitation and cleanliness standards.
• Work efficiently in a fastpaced highvolume FUN environment while staying calm and focused.
• Communicate clearly with team members and support smooth kitchen operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned requested or deemed necessary by management.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Three - Six months in a food/beverage or customer service environment or establishment.
• Must have manual coordination to punch buttons grasp items in hand and carry containers loaded with food and liquids.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to read speak and understand English.
• Communicate information and hotel services to management staff and guests
• Ability and comfortable working weekends and holidays
• Reliable organized and committed to maintaining a clean workspace

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Able to lift push carry 20 - 40 lbs.
• Stand continuously for long periods of time.
• Lift pull push bend and move items to support the hotel and outlets
