CAD Designer

• Utilize AutoCAD Plant 3D AutoCAD and Inventor software to support facility and piping design activities.
• Create and revise piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) layouts and design drawings.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Interpret technical drawings sketches and engineering markups to produce accurate design packages.
• Coordinate with process mechanical electrical and I&C disciplines to integrate design inputs.
• Review and update drawings to reflect design changes and engineering modifications.
• Ensure drawings comply with applicable project standards and design requirements.
• Perform quality checks on completed drawings and design deliverables.
• Participate in design review meetings and support project schedule milestones.

• High school diploma required; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Experience using AutoCAD Plant 3D and AutoCAD in an industrial or process design environment
• Experience with Inventor or other 3D modeling software
• Intermediate-level design experience preferred
• Ability to interpret technical drawings specifications and engineering sketches
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering team
• Familiarity with chemical industrial manufacturing or process facility design preferred
• Experience in the DOE market segments a plus.
• Client projects for this position require US Citizenship.
• Must have the ability to acquire a security clearance.
