Responsibilities
Compound and dispense prescribed medications accurately
Review prescriptions for accuracy dosage ingredients and safety
Provide patient counseling on medication use side effects storage and interactions
Maintain pharmacy files charge records inventory and documentation
Support controlled substance security quality assurance and hazardous waste procedures
Resolve third-party prescription rejection issues as needed
Work closely with physicians healthcare professionals pharmacy staff and customers
Ensure pharmacy services follow state federal and facility regulations
Requirements
Active California Pharmacist license required
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. required
BLS certification required
Retail pharmacy experience preferred
Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations required
Strong customer service communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work Monday Friday day shifts
